Rules and Regulations
The Rules for Promotion:
The pass percentage in each subject shall be 40 percent from class 6th to Xth.
The pass percentage from Nursery to Vth shall be 40% in each subject.
The promotion of a student from one class to another shall be determined on the basis of Terminal Assessment as well.
The maximum grace marks shall not exceed 5 marks in ay 2 subjects. The grace marks will be granted by the promotion committee. The consolidated marks sheet shall be scrutinized by the promotion committee and the final decision will be taken by the principal.
Students must make an aggregate of 40% in all the terminal examination/ Internal assessment.
Promotion from 10th to 12th and 9th to 10th will be granted only when the student passes in English and in a 4 in core subjects. Please refer the ICSE/ISC syllabus for complete detail of promotion & subjects which can be offered in Xth & XIIth.
The principal reserves the right promotion, at his own discretion on the basis of yearly/ Class wise performance of the student..
Promotion refuse will not be re-considered parents guardians are requested not to approach the principal and the teacher and put pressure on college authorities for promotion will mean dismissal of the ward from the college.
No Student below 75% attendance in the class will be allowed to take the examinations.
The name of student who fails to get promotion consecutively for two years in the same class will be struck off the rolls.
Note:
The above rules are liable to change on the direction of the promotion committee.
Use of Unfair Means:

Cheating and use of unfair means by a students in the examination is considered a serious offence, and on being caught a student’s result may be cancelled and he/she may be debarred from appearing in the examination of even rusticated from the school.

 

Examination report cards are prepared by the teachers and therefore, no student should make any effort to alter the marks which  have been entered by the teacher, Tampering of progress report card and alteration of marks will be considered a serious and punishable offence.

Progress Reports

After duly checking and marking the examination copies will be given to the students for parents to ascertain the performance of their child. Parents are required to sign the test copies and return these to the teacher concerned the very next day.

 

In September- December and March the Progress reports cards will be give to the parents. The parents should study the reports very carefully and help their child to improve his/her academic performance and social behavior by employing positive measures.
